Dr. Tammy is the owner and founder of Companion Animal Clinic and has been practicing veterinary medicine for more than two decades. She received an associate and bachelor’s degree from the University of Findlay in Ohio. In 1985, Dr Tammy received her degree in Veterinary Medicine from Ohio State University. In October of 1990, Dr. Tammy opened Companion Animal Clinic and has been helping clients and their pets since.
Dr. Tammy currently lives in Story City. She has a daughter, Dulce, who lives in Idaho and works for a historical society as a curator. Dr. Tammy has several pets of her own, which she enjoys taking care of. She currently has four horses, two goats, one cow, several barn cats, a house cat, several clinic cats, and the clinic corgi, Rascal. Dr. Tammy’s newest family member, Hope, is a puppy that she adopted from the Story County Shelter after performing an emergency foreign body removal surgery.
Dr. Victoria is the new associate veterinarian at Companion Animal Clinic. She obtained a bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University in Animal Science with a minor in music, and her degree in Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State as well.
Dr. Victoria currently lives in Ames with her husband Dr. Benjamin who is completing a post-doctoral degree at Iowa State. Although she does not currently have any pets, she is sure that will not last much longer. Dr. Victoria has a special interest in pocket pets, especially reptiles, and wildlife. With regards to dogs and cats, she enjoys working on cardiology, neurology and dermatology cases. She is looking forward to meeting and serving her new clients and patients in Gilbert and surrounding area.
